A Trusted Jeans Manufacturer From China Since 2004!

Inconsistent stitching1 can ruin your entire design. A skipped stitch or the wrong thread color turns your premium jean into a second-rate product, damaging your brand's reputation for quality.

We guarantee perfect stitching by controlling every detail. We use high-strength thread2, calibrate our machines daily, and follow your exact specifications for stitch density and color to ensure flawless, durable construction.

Over the past 20 years, I've learned that stitching is the skeleton of a jean. It holds everything together, but for a designer like you, it's also a signature.

The color of the thread, the number of stitches per inch—these details communicate your brand's identity as much as the fit or the wash.

That’s why we treat stitching with the precision of an engineer and the eye of an artist. It’s a small detail that makes all the difference between a good jean and a great one.

How many stitches per inch should my jeans have?

You're not sure what stitch density to spec. Choosing the wrong number can make a seam look clumsy, or worse, compromise the strength and durability of your final product.

The industry standard for premium jeans is 10-12 stitches per inch3 (SPI). This provides the best balance of strength and clean aesthetics. We use a higher density on stress points for maximum durability.

The number of stitches per inch, or SPI, is a critical technical detail that affects both the look and the lifespan of your jeans.

For a designer like you, understanding the options helps you achieve your exact vision. While 10-12 SPI is the sweet spot for most applications, we can adjust this to your specific needs.

If you're creating a lightweight summer jean or want a more decorative, vintage look, we might reduce the density to 8-10 SPI.

For a heavy-duty, rugged workwear jean, we can increase it to 13-15 SPI for extra strength. We don't use a one-size-fits-all approach.

We automatically apply a higher stitch density to key stress points like the belt loops, yoke, and side seams, ensuring your jeans are built to withstand daily wear and tear.

Stitches Per Inch (SPI) Best For... Characteristics
8 - 10 SPI Lightweight denim, decorative seams More vintage or relaxed appearance. Less rigid seam.
10 - 12 SPI The industry standard for most jeans Excellent balance of strength, durability, and a clean look.
13 - 15 SPI Heavy-weight denim, workwear Creates an extremely strong and durable seam for rugged use.

What thread brands and strengths do you use?

You worry that a factory will use cheap, weak thread to cut costs. This can lead to broken seams after just a few washes, resulting in angry customers and product returns.

We only use high-strength threads from globally recognized brands like Coats and A&E. We primarily use durable polyester or poly-core spun thread4 to ensure every seam is strong and colorfast.

The thread is the lifeblood of a jean's construction. Using inferior thread is a shortcut we would never take, as it compromises the entire garment.

We've built strong relationships with the world's best thread suppliers to guarantee quality. For most jeans, we use a high-strength polyester thread5.

It's incredibly durable, resists abrasion, and holds its color exceptionally well through countless washes, which is crucial for contrast stitching. For designers seeking a more vintage or softer feel, we recommend a poly-core spun thread.

This thread has a polyester core for strength, but it's wrapped in a cotton sheath. This gives it the softer look and feel of cotton thread but with modern durability.

We typically use thread sizes like 30/3 or 40/2, which have a breaking strength of 6-8 kilograms, more than enough to handle the stress of a well-worn pair of jeans.

Can I specify contrast stitch colors6 or special thread types7?

Your design calls for a very specific shade of gold thread, or a unique slub texture. You are concerned that a factory won't be able to source it, forcing you to compromise your creative vision.

Yes, you have complete control. You can provide a Pantone number for any contrast color, and we will match it perfectly. We can also source special threads like slub, waxed, or even multi-colored thread.

Stitching is a key part of your design toolbox, and we believe you should have full access to it.

We don't limit you to a standard palette of colors. Our process is simple: you give us a Pantone (TCX) color code, and we source the thread to match that exact shade.

Before we go into bulk production, we will sew a sample swatch for your approval, so you can see exactly how it looks on your chosen denim.

Beyond color, we can also help you explore specialty threads to add unique character to your jeans.

Want a vintage look? We can use a slub thread that has an intentionally uneven thickness. Designing a high-end, rugged jean?

A waxed or metallic thread can add a premium, technical touch. We see ourselves as your technical partner, ready to source the materials that bring your most creative ideas to life.

How do you prevent skipped stitches8 and unraveling?

Nothing looks more unprofessional than a skipped stitch or a seam that starts to unravel. These small errors scream "low quality" and can completely devalue your product in the customer's eyes.

We prevent errors through a three-part system: top-tier machinery, expert techniques, and strict quality control. We use Juki and Pfaff machines9, reinforce every seam, and inspect our work at multiple stages.

A flawless line of stitching isn't an accident; it's the result of a systematic process. First, we invest in the best equipment.

Our factory floor is equipped with professional sewing machines from brands like Juki and Pfaff, which are famous for their reliability and stitch quality.

These machines are calibrated daily to ensure the tension, timing, and needle spacing are perfect.

Second, our operators are trained in techniques that build durability. Every major seam is "back-tacked" at the beginning and end.

This is where the operator reverses the sewing for a few stitches, effectively locking the thread in place and making it impossible to unravel.

We also use overlock or serged seams on all raw edges inside the garment to prevent fraying. Finally, we have a multi-layered quality control process10.

The first piece of every batch is inspected, we conduct random checks throughout the production run, and every single pair is inspected again after washing to catch any potential issues.
